The needlewomen of the Volga-Don NGO on October 29 held a needlework workshop in the city library No. 6 for girls from the Constellation kids club.Together with the adult needlewomen, the beginning craftswomen made souvenir hats of the needle bed, tricolor brooches for the Day of National Unity. The joint creativity of children and adults helps children master the sewing technique, and adults, to transfer their experience and knowledge to young students.

November 8 at the Don State Public Library held a social forum “Socially oriented non-profit organizations — a modern provider of social services to the population“, which was attended by representatives of the NGOs of the Rostov region, including the NGO “Volga-Don”, the Public Chamber of Volgodonsk and Rostov region, the Government of the media.
The main objective of the Forum — to give access of socially-oriented non-profit organization to provide onerous social services and the corresponding budget funding.
Activists of the “School of the golden age” of NGO “Volga-Don” held a master class for needlework for girls from socially-rehabilitation center “Aistenok”.
All together, both adults and children making decorative pins, rosettes of satin ribbons, which are then decorated with a girl’s head. And although many of them are not able to master the technique of “kanzashi”, but with the help of skilled hands of senior mentors were able to make a beautiful roses.
The master class was held in the framework of the project “Hasten to do good”.
